Annemarie’s unusual wedding dress, which was knitted by her mother, was the feature of a newspaper article at the time.
Former Brakpan residents Div and Annemarie de Villiers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

The couple owned Mystique Florist and Flower Talk in Brakpan for many years and still own property in the CBD. They currently live in Limpopo, but visit Brakpan on a monthly basis. They have two children, Annemarie and Ian, and three grandchildren, Quintin, Tristin and Richard.
