Oval racing returns to Brakpan’s renowned circuit, the Rock Raceway on Saturday, October 14, and it’s going to be big.
Oval drivers from the Rock will test their skills against Mahem Raceway (Pretoria) when the Intercity Challenge comes to town.

A full programme of high-speed motorsport events will keep petrolheads glued to their seats.
Which club will walk away with the bragging rights and be crowned the 2017 Intercity champions?
Various disciplines will take to the track including the Kids in Racing SA Ninja class, 125 shifter karts, standard midgets, V8 sprints, saloon cars and space frames will include classes like 1600 stock rods, 1660 modified saloons, 2L hotrods and super saloons.
Gates will open at 10am with practice sessions throughout the day.
Racing starts proper at 4pm.
