Fun in the sun for the SPCA
Children will be able to enjoy face-painting, and there will be music and food stalls, a police K9 display, as well as a cash bar.
The Brakpan Mines Bowling Club will host a fun day in aid of the Brakpan SPCA, on Saturday, September 16.
The event will be a collaborative one, using the combined efforts of the SPCA, the bowling club and its members, sponsorship from Pet and Pool Pit Stop in Boksburg, as well as all the loyal members of the community who support this worthy cause.
There will be fun Bare-Foot Bowls for beginners, as well as for seasoned bowlers on the day.
“When we heard about the desperate state the SPCA was in, we as a club knew we had to do something to support this worthy cause, and why not have some fun doing it?” said Gary Crouser, a representative of the bowling club.

This should prove to be a great day out in the spring sunshine.
Festivities start at 11am.
