The City of Ekurhuleni is inviting scholars and aspiring artists, aged between 13 and 25, to join free regular art classes.
Registration is now open and interested candidates should apply not later than September 1.
The programme is set to provide mentorship and guide future artists to pursue careers in the field of arts.
Over the past decade, this programme has produced some of the finest artists in Ekurhuleni and empowered them to access visual art careers and creative art industry at large.
The classes will run from September until May 2018.
Details for the art classes are as follows:
• Springs Community Hall, Saturdays, 9am to 11.30am
• Geluksdal Library, Wednesdays, 2pm to 4.30pm
• KwaThema Library Group Activity Room, Mondays and Tuesdays, 2pm to 4.30pm
• Rhoo Hlatshwayo Art Centre, Daveyton, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2pm to 4.30pm
• Tembisa Main Library, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 2pm to 4.30pm
