Help Aerotropolis give local economy wings

The City of Ekurhuleni calls on captains of industry, investors, property developers and asset managers to seize investment opportunities that the city will unveil at the Ekurhuleni Investment Conference in June.

The conference is scheduled for June 5 and 6 at the Emperors Place Convention Centre.

It is set to create a platform that will endorse the city as an investment destination of choice and accelerate the inflow of domestic and foreign investment.

The city will use the conference to share with investors on the progress concerning its ground-breaking Aerotropolis project.

The Aerotropolis project is key in the investment promotion, attraction and facilitation of investment and development opportunities.

“We believe through the effective implementation of the Ten Point Economic Plan and other significant developments in the region, the potential and capability of the city will turn the tide in the socio-economic conditions of our people,” said Ekurhuleni mayor Clr Mzwandile Masina.

The conference will further showcase key projects and developments of Ekurhuleni as well as identify specific investment opportunities with a clear focus in aeronautics, manufacturing, aviation, fuel cells, urban renewal, plastics and rubber, natural resources and energy, and high tech.
