Help the police help others
Brakpan police have called on the community to donate toiletries for women and children in need.
The local station is collecting the items to hand over to local organisations that assist women and children.
Residents can assist by donating the following items: toilet paper, tissues, toothbrushes, toothpaste, face clothes, sanitary towels, soap, Vaseline, body lotion and a hairbrush or comb.
Donations of soft toys and teddy bears will also be greatly appreciated.
The items can be dropped off at room 112 at the Brakpan Police Station.
Donations will be accepted until February 15.
