While the robbers were busy, a customer entered the shop and was also instructed to go to the back, where his feet were tied by one of the robbers.

A shop in Anzac was robbed by three armed men on Saturday evening, after they had tied up the workers and a customer.

The three entered the shop, in Prince George Road, at about 7.45pm.

One of the robbers pointed a firearm at the workers and forced them to the back of the shop, where their feet were tied.

While the robbers were busy, a customer entered the shop and was also instructed to go to the back, where his feet were tied by one of the robbers.

After a while the victims untied the cables and saw that cash, cigarettes, toiletry items and the customer’s vehicle had been stolen.

A case of business robbery was opened at the Brakpan Police Station.
