Play junior cricket
It is that time of year again when young cricket players get excited to don their whites and prepare for the 2016/2017 Eastern Cricket Union junior season.
Brakpan-based United Cricket Club will be holding their trials for junior players this Sunday, August 21.
Trials for junior cricketers in the u-8 and u-10 age groups will be held at Laerskool Brentwood Park in Benoni on Sunday.
The session for u-8 players will take place from 8am to 11am while the u-10 session will happen from 11am to 2pm.
Trials for the u-12 and u-14 teams will take place at Hosking Park in Brakpan.
The u-12 players will have their trials from 8am to 11am while the u-14 trials will follow from 11am to 2pm on Sunday.
Registrations will also be done for those who have not yet registered for the season with the union.
