Local clinics ranked among the best

The four clinics are situated in Tsakane.

Four of Ekurhuleni’s clinics have been ranked in the top 10 countrywide.

This means that Ekurhuleni is well on course to meet requirements by national government that all primary healthcare facilities should, in the next three years, acquire an ”ideal” clinic status.

An ideal clinic grade means a facility is hygienic, opens on time and closes only when the last patient is attended to.

The characteristics of an ideal clinic also include the facility with good infrastructure, satisfactory staff, adequate medicine and supplies and good administrative processes.

Sufficient bulk supplies and the use of applicable clinical policies, protocols and guidelines to ensure the provision of quality health services to the community is also mandatory.

This grading serves as an assurance that residents will enjoy quality of service as determined by standardised national level.

The four clinics are situated in Tsakane.

They are the Tsakane Extension 10 clinic, Calcot Dhlephu clinic, Tsakane Main clinic and Andries Raditsela clinic.
