A game of hide and seek ended in the arrest of a suspected burglar this afternoon (Friday).
The 26-year-old man was arrested by the Brakpan Anti-Hijacking Task Team at an address along Roux Street, in Brakpan North, following a break-in at a home in Pythian Street.
The task team received a report of a burglary in progress at about 12.15pm and rushed to the scene.
On their arrival, they saw the man and an accomplice fleeing through a window of the house.
The pair scaled the wall of a neighbouring property and escaped.
After searching numerous properties in the vicinity, the team found the man at an address in Roux Street.
A hunt for the second man is still underway.
