Staff at Hanrimed Pharmacy are currently collecting items for a project they have undertaken to help indigent residents of the community.

Members of the public can assist by donating items such as second-hand clothes (in a good and clean condition), school stationery and non-perishable goods such as coffee, sugar, tea, canned food, maize meal, pasta, peanut butter and cooking oil.

Donations of detergents, soap, toothpaste and shampoo will also be most welcome.

There is also a great need for blankets and other bedding in a good and clean condition.

The goods will be distributed by the staff on May 8, with the assistance of the Guardian Angel Motorcycle Club and other volunteers.

Contact Leah Naude on 076 378 5334 for more information.

Donations can also be delivered to Hanrimed Pharmacy, which is situated at 371 Voortrekker Road.
