Gospel group celebrates 20 years

MTN Joyous Celebration is undoubtedly the most successful musical ensemble of its kind in the history of the democratic South Africa.

South Africa’s biggest and best loved gospel ensemble, MTN Joyous Celebration, launches its 20th anniversary tour with three shows at Carnival City in March.

The acclaimed gospel group will perform in the Big Top Arena over the Easter weekend, on March 25, 26 and 27.

With two decades of glorious worship and music, the MTN Joyous Celebration is undoubtedly the most successful musical ensemble of its kind in the history of the democratic South Africa.

The anniversary celebrations commenced with the live CD and DVD recording of Joyous 20 to a capacity audience at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium in December, last year, while the rest of the country tuned in live to SABC 1 to catch a glimpse of the spectacular.

Now the celebrations continue in earnest as the production embarks on a nationwide tour.

The show is an audio visual spectacular, with their signature moves, majestic voices, unmatched harmonies and spectacular costumes that have become synonymous with the ensemble and have endeared them to throngs of fans across the globe.

The shows on March 25 and 26 start at 7.30pm, while the show on March 27, Easter Sunday, has an earlier time slot of 5pm, making it perfect for families.
