Save water or face restrictions – EMM

The Metro is currently unable to meet the high demand for water and restrictions have already been implemented in Germiston.

“Together we can save water by not filling swimming pools, not watering gardens unless grey water from bathing or washing is used and not washing down paving or cars,” said spokesperson of the Metro, Themba Gadebe.

“Residents are also urged to report any burst pipes and to repair leaks on their properties to avoid water losses,” added Gadebe.
