Four housebreakings reported over the weekend
The following crimes were reported to Brakpan Police over the weekend:
Friday
Two businesses were broken into, one situated in Mans Street, Withok Estates, and another in Goods Road. A computer screen, camera system, alcohol, cigarettes and cash were stolen.
A housebreaking occurred in Katdoring Street, Dalpark. A TV, a sound bar, external hard drive and a PlayStation were stolen.
A man walking along Goods Road was robbed at around 6pm. His wallet and cellphone were stolen.
A vehicle, parked on the corner of Prince George Avenue and Voortrekker Road, was broken into. Two toolboxes were stolen.
Saturday
Two housebreakings occurred, one in Augrabies Avenue, Dalpark, and the other one in Jones Avenue. A TV, laptop, jewellery, iPad, generator and a motorbike were stolen.
A man that stopped at the traffic light at the corner of Rangeview Street and Gerrie Swart Drive was robbed of his cellphone.
Rims and wheels were stolen off a vehicle parked in Sabie Avenue, Leachville.
Sunday
A housebreaking occurred in Maryvlei. Nothing was stolen and the suspect was arrested.
A woman was robbed of her cellphone at the corner of 12th and Ergo Road, Maryvlei, while she and her brother were busy changing a tyre on their vehicle.
