Fans give Kelly Khumalo’s new work a thumps up

The event quickly turned into a sing-along show when the double platinum selling songstress performed some of the hits from her previous work.

Kelly Khumalo’s stellar performance received great praise from the audience as she shared her new work at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace on February 18.

The multi-award-winning singer and songwriter treated her followers to an evening of a fusion of Afro-pop, gospel and soul music, when she took to the stage to showcase songs from her new album called From A God To A King.
Her lead singles Bazokhuluma and Akathintwa are already firm favourites on South African playlists.

The event quickly turned into a sing-along show when the double platinum selling songstress performed some of the hits from her previous work, including Empini and Ngathwala Ngaye.
“To be able to share my journey with my loyal fans and friends and family is incredibly special and I am very excited to be celebrating this milestone album and my career with them,” shared Khumalo.
