Spreading hope, joy and love with sandwiches

With hunger being an increasing issue in our country, NPO Ladles of Love are making a difference with their annual Sarmiethon challenge. They aim to hand out 100 000 sandwiches on World Sandwich Day, Thurday 3 November.

Ladles of Love need help to reach their target of selling 100,000 sarmies before the Sarmiethon events are held on World Sandwich Day – 3 November. The events will be at V & A’s Waterfront, Cape Town and Old Eds in Houghton, Johannesburg. Corporate teams will battle it out to spread and make the 100,000 sandwiches in a 6-hour challenge. The NPO aims to close the circle of giving by having all 100,000 sarmies spread with love and distributed to people, mostly children in need within 24 hours on the 3rd of November.

How to help:
South African businesse and communities are invited to get behind this amazing cause by sponsoring the making of the 100 000 sandwich target. Visit www.ladlesoflove.org.za to buy and gift as many sandwiches as you can! There is also a draw to win great prizes for every transaction.

On their visit to communites, Ladles of Love experience the hope and joy sandwiches bring. “Our ask is for kind-hearted people to buy as many sarmies as you can and, together let’s put smiles on the faces of 100,000 children by alleviating their hunger” says Danny Diliberto, founder and Director of Ladles of Love.
