Mjovo Soccer School hands over an improvement award to player

The awarded player joined Mjovo Soccer School last year in October.

Mjovo Soccer School awarded player Anentlantla Dyomfana for improving his soccer technicality and drills, on May 19.

According to coach Senzo Ngwazi, the player has rapidly improved his soccer playing ability ever since he arrived at the soccer school.

“I noticed that during our training sessions and soccer matches.

“He is an outstanding player. He plays good football in most of our soccer matches and, to a large extent, he saved us on many occasions from losing our soccer matches.”

“Anentlantla is a defender but he can play offensive football as well.

“Sometimes he even takes up the goalkeeper position when our goalkeeper is absent. You will never find him absent from any of our training sessions. When he joined our team last year in October, he struggled to play soccer and he wasn’t as confident as he is now.

“Lately he keeps the soccer ball on his feet and dribbles a few players before passing the ball to his teammates.
Anentlantla said he is happy that he received the award and he is planning to train harder.

“This is a wonderful gesture from the soccer school and I would like to thank my teammates for being supportive. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t be receiving this award.

“I’m comfortable being a striker but when my coach asked me to play as a defender I took up the task. And I’m happy that I’m being honoured today for taking up the task.

“I wasn’t expecting to get this award, I expected our current striker Jaden Zimonte to get this award because he scored a hat-trick in our last match.

“I hope and pray for him to get this award in the future because he is an incredible player,” said Anentlantla.
