Sunday spoil: Cottage cheese chocolate kisses

This heavenly combination of chocolate and creamy cottage cheese is sure to sweeten up your Sunday afternoon.

Makes 25

You’ll need: 250g Lancewood Creamed Smooth Plain Cottage Cheese; 40g butter, soft; 30ml castor sugar; 5ml vanilla essence; 240g chocolate slabs (three) – milk, white or a combination of both.

How to:

Mix the cottage cheese, butter, castor sugar and vanilla essence.

Spray baking paper with non-stick spray.

Spoon the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a large star nozzle. Pipe small dollops onto the prepared baking paper.

Stick a toothpick into each one and freeze until solid.

Spray a plate with non-stick spray and set it aside.

Melt the chocolate. Work quickly and dip the kisses into the chocolate, swirling them around to coat all over. Rub the toothpick between your fingers to spin them to get rid of excess chocolate.

Place on the prepared plate and remove toothpicks.

Refrigerate until needed. Just as delicious when frozen.
