Renault to introduce new logo in 2022

According to Renault, the first production vehicle in 2022 will wear the updated logo.

Recently, Volkswagen, Opel, Peugeot and Nissan introduced revamped logos and news just in says that Renault will introduce a refreshed logo in 2022.

According to Renault, the first production vehicle in 2022 will wear the updated logo that will feature a flat design with two interlaced diamonds. 

The recent revamp of the Renault logo happened in 2015 which was just an update to the emblem that was introduced in 1992. The new corporate look has been in the works since 2019 and Renault thinks it would be meaningful to show it first on the electric supermini. 

The brand’s design director, Gilles Vidal confirmed that all of the brand’s cars will switch to the new logo by 2024. Renault describes the new logo as ‘uncluttered’ with no signature or typography.”

The design director further states that it is now ‘more iconic, simple and meaningful, a true timeless signature, without superfluous effects or colours, with a contemporary takeover of the lines, an essential part of our graphic heritage.’
