FUN DAY COLOUR RUN AND WOODLANDS FARMERS & CRAFT MARKET TO
BENEFIT WORTHY COMMUNITY CHARITIES.
Tickets cost R50 each per race, inclusive of environmentally-friendly paint pack, R5 of which will be donated to one of the following charities: Friends of Rottweiler Rescue and Re-home South Africa; HANNA Empowerment and Charity Foundation; and SPCA Boksburg – simply select which charity you would like to support when collecting your race pack from the registration table.
The day promises to be a wonderful opportunity for the whole family to enjoy quality time together, compete for the sheer fun of it, and build community camaraderie as all the competitors take a little time out to put the less fortunate first. A cash prize of R5 000 will be awarded to the school with the greatest number of entrants on the day, so be sure to mention the name of your school (if a scholar) when purchasing your ticket. Time and place: Saturday, 25 May between 09:00 and 14:00 at Woodlands
International College (entrance at 189 Dr Vosloo Road, Bartlett AH, Boksburg)
Event times: The races on the day will take in a mini obstacle course and will be divided into the following categories:
09h30 3 – 6 year olds race (all entrants to be accompanied by an adult)
10h00 7 – 12 year olds race
10h30 Family race
11h30 Grandparents race
12h30 13 – 18 year olds senior students race
13h00 Open adults race

The Fun Day Colour Run also coincides with the Woodlands Farmers & Craft Market, a popular event on the local community calendar, where visitors can browse, sample, and buy a wide array of organic produce, artisan breads, and other hand-made products, as well as outdoor group pilates sessions for the ladies (do please bring along your own yoga mat) dance classes, and horsing around with the dynamic Pony Play, who will be offering pony rides and informative demonstrations on equine care. Our kind sponsor, Jaguar Land Rover East Rand, will be showcasing their latest vehicles and facilitating select test-drive experiences. Highly popular celebrity DJ Teddy Tumi will be keeping everyone upbeat. All in all it promises to be an entertaining occasion for all.
