If you have run out of ideas of what he can get up to during the night, here are some ideas.
Ideas:
- Minion bananas. Using a permanent marker draw minion faces on bananas and let your elf chill with them.
- Cupcakes. Even elves love cupcakes! I mean really, who doesn’t?
- S’mores. Have your elf ready with all the ingredients to make some S’mores with the kids.
- Pancakes. Make some pancakes for breakfast and let your elf serve them to your little ones.
- Trapped. Trap your elf under a glass with a message with the word “help” inside it with him.
- The fridge. Use a washcloth to wrap up your elf and stick him in your refrigerator.
- An igloo. Make an igloo out of cotton balls and let your elf take a nap inside.
- Toilet paper tower. Simply stack up rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom and stick the elf on the very top.
- Lego ambush. Tie up your elf and have the kids’ Lego men kidnap him.
- Board game. Set up a board game and have your elf (and other toys) have a go.
- Storytime. Have other toys sitting around your elf and have him read them a book.
- The mechanic. Place your elf under a large toy car and let him give the car a tune-up.
- Caught. If your child has little army men, then tape your elf to the wall with the army men surrounding him.
- A date. Does your child have a Barbie doll? Why not place them both at a “dinner table” and let them go on a date.
- The sweetie jar. Have the kids catch him trying to sneak some sweets out of the sweetie jar/tin.
- The selfie. Selfies are so popular so why shouldn’t your elf take one? Use your phone to look like elf has taken a selfie.
- Dog food. Have your elf peeking outside your dogs’ biscuit box with a note reading “Do not leave these out for Santa. They taste disgusting”.
- Snow angel. Have your elf make a “snow angel”, using sugar or flour, on your kitchen countertops.
- Colouring in. Partially colour-in a picture, put the a crayon in the elf’s hands and let your kids admire his artwork.
- Mischief. Buy fake moustaches and have your elf put them on your family photos. Let your little ones catch him in the act.
- Superhero elf. Get elf to fight crime with your child’s superhero figurines.
No matter what your elf gets up to, remember to just have fun with him.
