Local football club pleads for help

Support this club to keep on grooming players of tomorrow

Liverpool Development Football Club is a community initiative based on football and was formed in 2012.

The Club is situated in Road Reserve, an informal settlement in Ramaphosa, Boksburg.

The club aims at grooming young players in order for them to realise their dreams of becoming future stars and so far has three divisions: u-13, u-15 and u-17.

Due to financial constraints, the club is not playing in a league but has been involved in a tournament in Norkem Park in December 2017 where it finished in the runner-up position.

The club has tried to approach many institutions and businesses to get the much-needed support, but up to date, nothing has materialised.

The club aims to host its first annual soccer tournament in Ramaphosa this year for young players.

Throughout 2017, the club has played a lot of friendlies against professional academies such as Jomo Cosmos, Black Aces, Boksburg FC, Sportive Development in Lenasia, as well as Berea Tshwane in Pretoria where some of their young players were spotted and signed by Boksburg FC.
