Emperors Palace has an exciting entertainment programme ahead.

The following events will be taking place during November and December.

  • November 4: Cellar Rats Summer Wine Festival

Come taste some of South Africa’s best wines, craft beers and liquors in an artisanal indoor setting at The Cellar Rats Summer Wine Festival.

More than 60 producers will present more than 400 products for the adult tasters’ enjoyment.

Beneficiaries of this event include Dogtown SA and Kids Haven.

Venue: Red Roman Shed. Doors open at noon.

  • November 4: Emperors Palace Charity Mile 2017

16 horses, 16 celebrities, 16 charities and five feature races.

Venue: Turffontein Racecourse.

  • November 5: Divas of Dance

Take a trip back to the 90’s with Divas of Dance at Emperors Palace.

The queens of dance, Black Box, Sonia, Lonnie Gordon and more will have you reliving the memories in this throwback concert. Come hear all your favourite dance songs from the 1990s.

Venue: Centre Court, 7pm.

  • November 7 to 8: IBO Business Summit SA

  • November 17: Mrs South Africa Grand Finale 2017

Hosted by Jo-Ann Strauss, the Mrs South Africa grand finale promises to be a spectacular production featuring top South African celebrities, dancers and designers.

Venue: Theatre of Marcellus. Doors open at 8pm.

  • November 18: Bash with Tash 2

Have another Bash with Tash and get ready to take laughter to another level. With non-stop laughter, social media sensation and comedian Tash presents a new exciting fresh set of comedy.

Venue: Theatre of Marcellus, 8pm.

  • November 22 to December 7: The Rubber Duc Experience

If you’re looking for a good time, take a dip in the Emperors Rubber Duc Experience. Make a splash with your colleagues and clients by inviting them to celebrate a job well done in style. You don’t have to wing it, everything is supplied!

The Palace is proud to have Rubber Duc rocking its Rubber Duckland in 2017.

Rubber Duc is a fresh South African four-piece band made up of Nick Jordaan, Brendan Campbell, Sheldon Sham and Amiel Gopal.

The DUC sound is fun and authentic with cheerful, catchy melodies and clever lyrics that stick in your mind and songs that make you want to dance.

Venue: Red Roman Shed.

  • December 1 and 2: Limpopo’s funniest in Joburg

Multi-award winning Mashabela Galane, also known as Papago, brings together Limpopo’s finest comedians under one roof.

The show will be in vernacular languages, mostly Northern Sotho (Sepedi) and will feature Galane as the MC, alongside five of the best comedians from Limpopo.

Venue: Theatre of Marcellus, 8pm.

  • December 2: Muzik Soul Session

Muzik Soul is all the best soulful sounds usually enjoyed over the airwaves. Come mingle, share moments with friends and meet your favourite personalities while enjoying great food in a harmonious ambience.

Line up: Wilson B Nkosi, Sentle Lehoko, Georgie Munetsi, LefaOfentse, Muzik Soul and Miss Moloko.

Supported by: Lady Bonolo, Lady Stax, Hilda Buyiswa, DJ Laspalesky, DJ Lolo Sereme and DJ Choc.

  • December 3: Legends of Ghazal

BluBlood brings you the Legends of Ghazal coming together for the first time on a timeless journey in the African continent.

Join Pankaj Udhas, Anup Jalota and Talat Aziz for a one night only concert.

Venue: Centre Court, 6pm.

  • December 9: Lira

Showcasing her latest album, Born Free, which masterfully blends a new sound with the smooth urban direction synonymous with Lira. Witness the first national tour of this incredible body of work.

Venue: Theatre of Marcellus, 7.30pm.
