WIN! Jewels of India 2 to bring Indian cinema to life

On November 13, the power packed Bollywood extravaganza, Jewels of India 2, will bring Indian cinema to life through music and dance.

The show will be held at the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, from 3pm to 6pm.

The first show, Jewels of India, was a massive hit in Johannesburg and was sold out to an audience of over 1 000 spectators.

Now back by popular demand, Zed Kay Productions brings the sequel Jewels of India 2, featuring the talents of the international sensation Naushad Ali Kawa along with the superb talents of local artists.

Kawa is a trained classical and Sufi singer who reigns from the pink city of Jaipur, India.

He was also an Indian Idols finalist and currently teaches music in Paris.

Kawa’s passion and zest will leave viewers breathless.

Local vocalists include Shainul Ramjee (originally from Canada buy residing in Johannesburg), Imran Aslam (originally from Pakistan but residing in Laudium), Suraj Jeewan (from Johannesburg), Vandana Naran (from Lenasia) and Sarika Bikaro (from Durban).

The show takes audiences on a journey through different eras in a fusion of Bollywood music.

It will take you down memory lane, enhancing the emotions within.

Jewels of India 2 will captivate and intrigue its viewers.

The undying energy of the exotic Oriental Fire Dancers, the dervish of dance and the expressive emotions hidden within the deep words of the Bollywood songs is sure to ignite a storm within the hearts of the audience.

The artists will be performing to the beats of the talented Punjabi Dhol player, Vivek Parshottam, along with SAs renowned 10 piece live orchestra, Bollywood Show Band V/S and our newly featured English band.

Composed and produced by DJ Zuby of Zed Kay Productions, this fusion of influences and Bollywood songs is a first in the SA music industry.

Zubair Khan (aka DJ Zuby), CEO of Zed Kay Productions and The SA Legends Award Winner 2012, is a well-known personality in the entertainment industry.

Khan brings the heat from his hometown Mumbai, India to set the stage on fire.

He has worked on numerous successful stage productions and wears the crown when it comes to Bollywood nightlife events.

His dedication and passion for bringing out the best in every artist is reflected in his previous showcases.
