The sixth Annual Spring Fiesta was held at the Wild Waters complex in Boksburg.
The mother of all parties featured several stages, including the main stage called Soul Candi Live, along with House of Flava, What About Soul and We Live Hip Hop.
The star-studded line-up of performers at this year’s festival consisted of renowned local and international music stars.
They included the UK-based and world-renowned House music DJ Atjazz, New York’s Monique Bingham, Babes Wodumo, DJ Kent, Mi Casa, AKA, DJ Shimza, Kwesta, Boom Shaka, DJ Christos and Vinny Davinci, Sphectacula and DJ Naves, Naked DJ, DJ Merlon, Twins on Decks, Fistaz Mixwell, Mobi Dixon, and Prince Kaybee.
The thousands of party-goers were met with a high-visibility police operation at the festival, targeting alcohol-related crimes, illegal weapons and substances and anti-social behaviour.
The large contingent of police from the Ekurhuleni Central SAPS Cluster, and EMPD took part in the operation, which took place in and around the venue.
Festival-goers were, for days prior to the event, encouraged to stay safe and enjoy themselves within the law. -@FanieFLK
