WIN! Time to laugh with the outrageous Karou Charou

One of South Africa’s foremost comedians, Karou Charou, is finally coming to Carnival City.

He hits the stage at the Mardi Gras Theatre, where he will perform two entirely different shows over two days; his funny adult comedy, Kama Sutra 2, at 8pm on Saturday, July 30, and his family friendly show, Hot and Spicy, at 3pm on Sunday, July 31.

Kama Sutra 2 is the much-anticipated sequel to Kama Sutra, which broke attendance records at Sibaya Casino, in KwaZulu-Natal, when it premiered with seven sold-out shows and went on to sell out a further 25 shows across the country.

Kama Sutra 2 sees Karou taking on the role of a sex coach, in a bid to build healthier sexual relationships between couples.

He dissects the effect 50 Shades of Grey has had on people, relates his own experiences with the various sexual positions, explores the erogenous zones in females, and even introduces music and dance in the bedroom, amongst other interesting topics.

“We are thrilled to confirm that Karou Charou will perform at Carnival City for the first time ever in July,” said Matthew Cook, the events and entertainment manager at Carnival City.

“To mark the occasion, he brings two of his most successful shows to our stage.

“This means two entirely different scripts, different zany outfits, different props and different technical requirements. It’s going to be a rip-roaring weekend for comedy fans.”

The highly charismatic Karou, with his trademark outfits, dark glasses, bling and refreshingly interactive comedic style, is one of the most commercially successful comedians in South Africa.

He will have the audience in stitches as he offers his take on Indian weddings, attempts to explain why 95 per cent of Indians can’t swim and reveals the real reason why Indians don’t play rugby.

He will also offer his perspective on why it is not normal for human beings to get married.

Then there is the crowd pleasing cowboy ”Hoe down”, which will have fans rolling in the aisles.
