Diarise a soulful night with Max-Hoba

Singer and songwriter Max-Hoba teams up with some of the country’s talented hip hop, soul and afro pop artists, to bring the proudly local musical showcase, ''A Soulful Night with Max-Hoba'' to Carnival City’s Big Top Arena, on July 9.

Johannesburg-based Max-Hoba is a versatile and multi-talented Afro soul and world music artist.

One of South Africa’s best exports, his music is a mixture of soothing soul and Xhosa and Sesotho folk with a touch of jazz, hip hop, reggae and that distinct South African sound.

As an independent artist, he has enjoyed a successful career and has earned himself a reputation as a versatile artist who is able to transcend barriers, performing across Southern Africa, Thailand and Germany.
