Bollywood’s Sunidhi Chauhan to shine at the Big Top Arena

After sold out shows in South Africa seven years ago, Bollywood’s sensational Sunidhi Chauhan returns to the country for two shows, one of which is at Carnival City, on April 23.

With a month to go until her show, Chauhan, widely known as ”The Voice of India”, has a special message for her Gauteng fans: “Get ready for a mind-blowing concert like you have never seen before”.

Fans can look forward to a stellar live performance of some of her hit songs, such as Kamli, Dilli Wali Girlfriend, Be Intehaan, Punjabi Wedding Song, DJ, Piku, Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari, Chor Bazaari, Girls Like to Swing, and Halkat Jawani.

Chauhan, also responsible for evergreen numbers like Dhoom Machale Dhoom, Sheila ki Jawaani, Beedi Jalaile, has enjoyed an illustrious career spanning over 15 years and has been touted as the number one singer of this generation by none other than Lata Mangeshkar.

She has recorded songs in several other Indian dialects and languages, making her one of the most recorded voices in India today, with over 3 000 studio recordings and 50 million albums sold worldwide.

She made her International debut with the song Heartbeat – a collaboration with Enrique Iglesias.

This talented songstress has just returned from the Global Citizen festival in New York, where she was introduced by Hollywood A-listers Hugh Jackman and Salma Hayek and performed by sharing the stage with music’s big names, such as Beyonce, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.
