Thrilling yet ‘beautiful’ sensory festival of dance at Emperors

The most talented performers from across the globe will come together this winter, in the Theatre of Marcellus, Emperors Palace, to deliver a musical extravaganza, in an eye-popping production that offers a little bit of everything.

”Beautiful” is a pulse-racing, sensory festival of dance and music that takes each guest on a 90-minute ride of entertainment through the eras.

The show starts with emotive choreography, suspended in a musical medley and laced with 600 extravagant costumes that barely hug the dancers’ bodies.

”Beautiful” is a sensual and sexy mixture of topless dancers, entertaining the audience with the most tasteful and artistic routines to hit SA shores.

An age restriction of PG16 is set for the seven-act spectacular, as the impressive repertoire, including performances of Dirty Dancing, Footloose and Flash Dance, are revealed in a showgirl style that will leave most guest a little hot under the collar.

Audiences can expect anything, from spooky performances to dreamlike adages, as a team of top performers takes to the stage each night.

The intensely gifted team will be led by ”Beautiful” singer, songwriter and power-house performer, Keeniatta.

The South African-born entertainer has been described as “awesome” by the Washington Post after her impressive performance at The Obama Inauguration after-party.

Keeniatta is joined by Stephen Hayes, another singer, songwriter and performer, with a string of heavy-weight productions such as “Let There be Rock” and “Rock on Beethoven” under his belt.

Dazzling artists such as Rene Mabotha, who brings over 14 years of international stage experience, Jace Dean Bowren who has performed in 40 countries to bring Emperors Palace the very best in entertainment quality and Talia Alexis, who brings to stage 12 years of experience, will ensure that ”Beautiful” is the hottest show this winter.

Sizzling performances will take place on Thursday to Saturday, from July 16 to August 9.
