Fans of Frank Miller’s Sin City graphic novel series are in for a treat with this Robert Rodriguez sequel, nine years after the original was released. In the film many of the stories in Miller’s novel Sin City: A Dame to Kill for are explored, as well as some new ones written by Miller for the big screen. Expect to see a number of Hollywood heavyweights.
The Purge: Anarchy

In this self-contained story of ultra-violence that follows on from the original horror-thriller Purge, ill-timed car trouble forces a young couple to flee from a gang of killers on motorcycles just as the annual purge (the one night of the year when all crime is permitted) commences. Heading downtown, the couple join up with a vigilante hell-bent on finding and killing the man responsible for murdering his son, and a mother and daughter whose home has been destroyed by assailants. Together this small group must join forces and stay alive until dawn breaks when the purge ends.
