Cardinals’ teams show character in matches
Boksburg Cardinals Baseball teams want to win their upcoming matches.
The Boksburg Cardinals Baseball Club juniors, consisting of the U10, 12, 15 and 19 teams, put on a fight during their third match of the Eastern League on October 19.
All the matches took place at the home ground of Benoni Indian Baseball Club. The Cardinals U10 trashed Lakeshore Chinook 29-3 in an entertaining encounter, with Boksburg U10 beating Red Sox Baseball Club 22-15 in a tough match.
The Cardinals U12 won 5-4 against Cheyenne Baseball Club, while Boksburg U12 suffered a defeat to Imps Baseball Club, who won 12-1.
The Boksburg Cardinals Baseball Club U15 teams also played doubleheaders on the day. Cardinals U15 humiliated Imps by 21-3.
Cardinals also snatched another champion status against Alexandra Baseball Club. Boksburg U15 marginally lost in both its matches, 15-11 to Imps and 12-9 to Acadeo.
Cardinals U19 won 27 – 12 against Benoni Cammanchies.
