Shandre, who resides in Reiger Park, helped his team win the Diski Challenge league by scoring 16 goals and providing 19 crucial assists.

Campbell said he is overwhelmed to win the league and to be awarded for his hard work.

“When I was promoted from the U19 to the reserve side I had a target of scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists. I exceeded my target halfway through the season. I have never looked back. Joining the first team is exciting and something I have dreamed about,” he said.

He added that his main goal is to score more goals for the first team and ensure they qualify to play in the CAF Championships and even win the league.

He thanked his coaches Thabo September and Roscoe Krieling for always encouraging and believing in him.
His father, Reshan, said they are proud as a family of Shandre.

“We have always believed that his hard work will pay off one day. he has been playing exceptionally well from his developmental years, even this season as a reserve side player he didn’t disappoint,” he expressed.
