The Peaky Ballers defeated Reiger Park FC 3-2 on penalties to win the Astroplex U17 six-a-side tournament on May 27.
The two sides played to a two-all draw in regular time before Ballers walked away with the R3 500 prize money, the winners’ trophy and gold medals, following spot kicks.
The tournament attracted over 18 teams from Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
Astroplex will host an U21 competition on June 24.
