Learners from Nova Pioneer Boksburg recently organised a successful clean-up event at a local park in Beyers Park.

Pule Letshweni, a marketing assistant from Nova Pioneer Boksburg, emphasised the importance of such initiatives in encouraging a sense of pride among learners.

“Our learners took the initiative to clean up the park, and it was heartening to see them come together with a shared purpose.

“This initiative was not just about picking up litter; it was about instilling values of responsibility and care for our environment.”

Equipped with gloves and trash bags, the learners worked diligently to remove debris, clear litter, and enhance the park’s overall appearance.

“The involvement of our learners reflects our ethos of community engagement. We believe that by taking action, we can inspire others to do the same.

“The clean-up not only improved the park’s aesthetics but also fostered a sense of accomplishment among the learners,” said Letshweni.

Letshweni shared that they are committed to fostering a culture of social responsibility among the learners.

“This clean-up is just the beginning; we are already planning more initiatives that will allow them to engage with and give back to the community.”
