Boksburg North SAPS football team draw against airport police

The Boksburg North SAPS football team drew 1-1 in a nail-biting game against the OR Tambo International Airport police in Kempton Park on June 12.

The match was part of the Ekurhuleni North Football League for police officers.

After both teams were goalless in the first half, each scored in the second half.

Constable Nkateko Hlungwani scored the goal for Boksburg North.Andrew Mpati, Boksburg North’s coach, said he is happy with his team’s performance.

“There were few attempted goals that they did not manage to round off,” said Mpati.

In their previous game, Boksburg North clinched a 3-2 victory over the Olifantsfontein SAPS in Thembisa on June 5.
