Boksburg North SAPS come out tops
Boksburg North SAPS will take on Kempton Park SAPS in their next game.
The Boksburg North SAPS football team played their best game of the year on March 6, with an impressive 7-3 win over the Actonville SAPS at Boksburg Stadium.
The match was part of the Ekurhuleni North Football League for police officers.
Team chairperson Sergeant Bhuti Kunene was excited at the game’s outcome.
“I am happy with the team’s performance, and we will continue to work hard to improve,” said Kunene.
Boksburg North SAPS is now 11th on the log after this win.
The team showed improvement when they clinched a 2-0 victory against Daveyton SAPS at the Boksburg Stadium on February 14.
Boksburg North SAPS drew 3-3 against the Pan African Parliament (PAP) in Olifantsfontein the following Wednesday.
The team’s next game is against the Kempton Park SAPS at Boksburg Stadium on March 20.
