All the greats at Long Drive event in Benoni tomorrow
The competition will include a Top 8 double elimination round.
Grasslands Driving Range in Benoni AH will host the Long Drive competition on March 2 from 08:00 to 15:00.
Long Drive is making waves across Africa as enthusiasts and athletes discover the thrill and excitement it brings to the sporting scene.
The players will show their prowess by driving the ball over great distances.
The event will feature the current South African champion and world champion, Thorne van Zyl, who will compete in a gripping format, working towards qualifying for the World Championship.
It will also include the ultimate long-drive world champion, Campbell MacMillan.
Each player will have five sets of six balls to outdrive their opponents while keeping their shots within the demarcated grid, a challenging area measuring 450m in length and 55m in width.
The competition will include a Top 8 double elimination round, where players must navigate through winner and loser pools.
