Local swimmers make a splash at EGA Winter Championships
The swimmers raked in the medals and achieved a lot of personal bests.
The Boksburg Aquatic Saints Swimming and Lifesaving Club’s junior swimmers excelled at the recent Eastern Gauteng Aquatic (EGA) Winter Championships at St Benedict’s College.
The results are:
Troy Harding: eight gold and one silver
Terrick le Roux: five gold and three silver
Gio Cocci: three gold, five silver and one bronze
FC Rosslee: three gold
Tetelo Letsoala: one bronze
Kate Douglas: three gold, two bronze
Ava Bosch: two gold, one silver and two bronze
Abbigail Kulynych: one silver and two bronze
Megan Els: one silver and one bronze.
The club congratulates head coach Wade Marshall on the outstanding results.
