‘Looselaw’ ready for Tikbox bout

The fighter's preparation for the bout is going well.

Beyers Park’s slap fighter Johan ‘Looselaw’ van Vuuren is gearing up for a boxing match at the Tikbox League 2: Bully Beat Down, scheduled to take place at the Parkview Centre in Pretoria on September 2.

The 35-year-old will go head-to-head with Danie Hattingh in the white-collar boxing event where TikTok influencers will battle it out in the ring.

At the event there will be one-on-one, tag team boxing and bikini boxing.

Speaking on his readiness ahead of the fight, Van Vuuren said all is going well with his preparation for the bout.

“I’m training at Rock Solid Boxing and Fitness. I’m working round the clock with coach Joe Adams and Danie van Heerden also works with us from time to time,” said Van Vuuren.

Van Vuuren highlighted it is a local derby as he is a Boksburg rugby player while Hattingh is a former Brakpan rugby player.

His message to his opponent: “He must be ready. I want him to be at his best. On September 2, he must know that ring is not his Ouma Sarie’s tea table.”

The fighter thanked sponsors such as Shift energy drink, Lindburg Engineering, Engineeric Solutions, Everlast, Legion Of The Jackal and Printsense for their support.
