Talitha FC beats Hlahatsi Peace Makers

The players were competing for every ball in the field.

Talitha FC humiliated Hlahatsi Peace Makers 11-1 in the Easterns League match at home (Boksburg Stadium) on April 27.

Talitha dominated the match with Philane Mhlongo opening the deadlock with a good shot inside of the penalty box, beating the goalkeeper.

Mpedulo Sibeko scored the second goal for the home side with a spectacular free-kick. Talitha continued to dominate ball possession and mounted pressure on the visiting side.

The visiting succumbed to the pressure and conceded the third goal which was scored by Lesindi Thujwa from a free-kick just after the centre. Thujwa grabbed a brace from a free-kick again and the home side extended its lead to 4-0.

Khaya Mabuza also grabbed an opportunity for his name to be on the scoresheet when he pulled off a long-range shot just outside the penalty box to score the fifth goal for Talitha.

The home side went into cruise control when Moses Dalitso scored the sixth goal. The visiting side grabbed a consolation goal but watched as Talitha continued to exploit the spaces in the middle of the park.

Dalitso scored a brace for the home side for Talitha to lead by 7-1.

Kutloano Mutsamia didn’t miss the opportunity to be on the scoresheet with his goal. Mutsamia and Nthethelelo Mngomezulu both scored a brace.

Talitha also won 10-2 against Badgers FC in an away match on April 30.
