Thapelo Seforo (20), a former Boksburg FC player who was signed to Postmasburg FC in August, is enjoying his football at the Northern Cape football side.
Seforo, who plays for the team in the ABC Motsepe League, said he was not expecting to play in the topflight football so soon.
I’m honoured to play for this wonderful team and I would like to see myself promoted with the team to the National First Division League. My journey in the team is good so far even though I have had a few challenges with the speed and intensity of the league. With time I will adjust to it.
He mentioned that this is his time first time playing in the Motsepe league.
It has provided me with the opportunity to improve my playing technique. My initial plan was to first play in SAFA Mens Regional League, but I appreciate the fact that my soccer agent saw the best in me and took me to the trails of my current team.
My aspiration is to play in the DStv Premier League. I want to work my way up and prove that I deserve to be there.
He said his favourite player in the soccer fraternity is the Croatia soccer team captain and midfielder for Real Madrid, Luka Modrić.
I also like to thank my family and coaches that supported and guided me throughout my soccer career, including my father Ernest who believed in me,” he concluded.
