The Reiger Park-based East Rand United (ERU) rugby club has renewed its appeal for a sponsor.
According to ERU chairperson Marius de Vos, the sponsor will assist with the club’s day-to-day expenses.
“Our biggest need at the moment is financial assistance that will help to get our players to training and away games,” said De Vos.
The chairperson said a sponsor will help the club to promote rugby in the community.
“We have excellent coaches and players who are passionate about the sport.”
Furthermore, De Vos expressed his gratitude to those who opened their hearts and wallets to the club last season.
He added ERU is a registered NPO and contributors will receive tax exemption.
