BAC athlete represents country with pride
He claimed a third place finish in the 20-24 category.

The Boksburg Athletic Club’s Rieghardt Rautenbach raised the country’s flag after a podium finish at the World Triathlon Championships in Abu Dhabi on November 24.
The 24-year-old excelled in the men’s 20-24 AG super-sprint. He completed the event in 36:07 to finish third behind winner Abulaziz Alduaij from Kuwait and runner-up Matt Coleman from the USA.
In the longer Olympic distance event on November 26, the Central Gauteng athlete finished in 16th place.
Some of his biggest achievements this year include a second-place finish at the SA National Sprint Triathlon Championships in Bloemfontein in the 20-24 category.
He also finished third in his category in the African Cup this year.
