Runners impress at BAC run

The Boksburg Athletic Club (BAC) held an informal club run in the vicinity of Germiston Lake on October 10.

From as early as 06:00, about 32 members of the club and the community started running. There was a 5km, 10km and 21km race.

The results are as follows:
Paul Kasu was the male winner and ran the 21km race at 01:16:00 and BAC secretory Caronn Harris was the female winner with a time of 01:39:00.
The club only kept a record of the 21km run results.

Harris described the event as a success.
“The support from club members and the fitness levels that runners have managed to maintain during Covid-19 is impressive,” she said.
