Twizza pins their sponsorship colours to netball goal posts

Twizza has rallied behind a club-level tournament aimed at developing grassroots players in local communities into fully-fledged SA stars.

Twizza, a proudly South African carbonated beverage company, has once more pinned their sponsorship colours to the Twizza Netball Club Championship, which begins this month.

“The tournament is the start of something great for netball in South Africa. At grassroots level, it’s a game-changer for all players, coaches, umpires and administrators as it allows them to grow and play.

“We’ll also be seeing many memories and Twizza moments being made in every match. Twizza moments celebrate excellence on the court, from the playmakers to goal scorers, defenders and more,” explained Lance Coertzen, Twizza group marketing manager.

Twizza has rallied behind a club-level tournament aimed at developing grassroots players in local communities into fully-fledged SA stars.

“We’re excited to see who comes out on top, with 52 districts in local communities and 20 clubs in each district participating, the competition will be tough but will give everybody a chance to shine,” said Coertzen.

Beginning this month and culminating in September, the tournament will see players take each other on at district, provincial and national levels as they vie for their place at the top.
For Netball South Africa this is a chance to identify talent and provide consistent competition for all players across the country.

“We are grateful to Twizza for throwing their weight behind this club netball tournament and helping us begin the journey of giving more players access to the sport. We believe this is the start of greater things to come,” concluded Cecilia Molokwane, Netball South Africa president.
