The Boksburg Cardinals Major B side played against Palm Ridge in a baseball league match on Sunday (May 30) and won 15-0 at Boksburg City Stadium.
Good pitching by Cardinals pitchers Theuns Theunissen and Garrett Miller and the closing by Donovon Sole secured the win.
Wesley Botha 2 for 2 and Christopher de Wet 2 for 3 batted well. Botha and Mark du Plessis hit a double, while Chris de Wet hit a triple.
Boksburg Cardinals president Gavin Bennett said: “This side is unbeaten in the league. Coaches Frank Olivant and Bruce Foley are working hard with the team.”
