PGKA athletes flourish in international karate tournament

The Parkrand Goju Karate Academy scooped 19 medals at the recently held Adidas USA Karate Open Online E-tournament.

The online tournament required athletes to submit videos online, as well as their location, while international judges judged them.

The tournament saw 217 entries from 31 participating nations.

The 19 medals, which include three golds, five silvers and 11 bronze, saw the local dojo, which represented the country, finishing sixth overall on the medals tally.
