Blues inviting players for trials

Football is back

The Boksburg Football Club (BFC) has wasted little to no time in getting some football action underway following the recent good news for football lovers from the South African Football Association (Safa) that amateur football can return to training.

To get things started, the club will be holding a trials session for all genders and age groups, starting from u-6 up to the seniors. This will take place at the club’s base at the Boksburg City Stadium on February 27 from 8am.

However, registration and screening of players will commence at 7.30am.
Trials are free of charge. According to BFC coach Ernest Seforo, the day is anticipated to be approximately two hours long, depending on weather conditions on the day.
The mentor has also stressed that volunteer coaches are needed on the day and any interested candidates can contact him on 079 721 6160.
Drinks will be sold on the day.
Players are welcome to bring their sanitiser and according to the club, everything is in place to ensure player safety and strict following of Covid-19 protocols.
No jeans will be allowed and parents are tipped to bring their own chairs.
