Oosthuizen’s case postponed in Vosloorus

Pugilist's matters appear to be going over to 2021

Thomas ‘Tommy Gun’ Oosthuizen is again set to make two court appearances in different courts following the postponement of his latest court appearance in the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court on October 30.

Oosthuizen appeared in the Vosloorus court on October 30 on charges of assault, but the matter was postponed to November 17 for an attorney – a day after the former multiple IBO champion will appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on a separate matter, involving a further nine charges.

The nine charges facing the southpaw boxer include four charges of assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, four charges of crimen injuria (unlawfully, intentionally and seriously impairing the dignity of another) and resisting arrest.

The last time he appeared for the above was in Boksburg on October 14.

The matter was postponed to November 16.
