The Boksburg Rugby Club strengthened its internal relationships by formally introducing the club’s sponsors to the players.
The evening occasion was held at the club’s base at Prince George Park.
The introductions were made by club president Lex Thorpe, who gifted the sponsors with little symbols of appreciation. Chairperosn Willem Botes ran the announcements and was the MC of the event.
The club’s coaches and new players were also present.
The Owls’ main sponsor, TW Profile Services, was joined at the event by co-sponsors Nigel Doors, Spiderteck, Makopano and Suburban Link.
Senior side new coach Lukas van der Schyff will be given a fair amount of time to integrate new faces with old, work with new combinations and build chemistry, with the Owls having a rather busy friendly match schedule.
The Thabazimbi tour is followed by the Springs Rugby Day on February 29 before the Brakpan and Nigel Rugby days follow in consecutive weeks.
